Currently, I perform disability evaluations for many different organizations, including Social Security, Employment Development Department, the Department of Rehabilitation, and Workers’ Compensation. I obtained my Qualified Medical Examiner (QME) certification in December 2011.

My doctorate is in an APA-approved research-based clinical psychology program from the University of Oregon, and I was licensed in California in 1986; I also have a credential in School Psychology.

I have training and experience in test construction, factor analysis, psychological testing, play therapy, hypnosis, depression, analytic therapy, neuropsychology, school psychology, pain management, rehabilitation, and biofeedback.

I have worked in the field for over 35 years, and specialize in assessing and treating children and their families aged 3-17 with a gamut of disorders, especially ADHD, PTSD, ODD, and learning disabilities.

I have taught introductory psychology, statistics, psychological assessment, personality, research methods, and play therapy.

I have been co-author of 8 publications in the fields of perception, depression, test construction, and child psychopathology.

I have twice been the President of the Inland Psychological Association and have lobbied legislators for the California Psychological Association.

I completed my dissertation with Dr. John Reid and Dr. Jerry Patterson in 1983 and was trained in child and family therapy by the Oregon Social Learning Center (OSLC).
